Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Protests over the SSC recruitment scam intensified on Thursday at Karunamoyee, where both teaching and non-teaching job aspirants gathered to demand action. The demonstrators expressed their frustration with the government’s failure to address the concerns of non-teaching staff who were affected by the recruitment irregularities.
While some teachers have been reinstated to their positions, the non-teaching staff, including clerks and group-D employees, continue to face uncertainty about their future employment. The protesters called on the state government to take immediate action and ensure that non-teaching job aspirants are also reinstated, just as teachers have been.
